- T.S. Eliot "Sweeney Agonistes"
When I began rehearsing this play, the three leading ladies were Helmut Newton style fashion models. Midway - that image lost its resonance, and they turned into disheveled would-be ballerinas. Many other things changed. What never changed was the impulse to see performers drifting against a web of music and language - with aphoristic phrases overlapping - telling the truth - but contaminated with fantasy and desire, as is always the case.

-T.S. Eliot "Little Gidding"
